Fall represents beautiful colored trees and pumpkin spice!
When you walk into any store, the smell of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and whatever else they put in pumpkin spice, will follow you. Coming from South Africa, this was a complete new notion to me when we arrived in the States last year.
I was, and still is, fascinated by the fact that they can sell Pumpkin Spice Latte's, Pumpkin Spice biscuits and waffles and whatever you can think of where they can add pumpkin. I fell in love with this taste and smell, and therefor decided that I want to create a super healthy and raw treat to enjoy during fall.
This smoothie is a wonderful weight loss companion. It is nourishing, low fat, low carb and very satisfying. Best of all, it really feels like you are treating yourself because it is completely different from the normal smoothie.
Have a blessed and Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving!
