Birthday cakes have always fascinated me. For children, the birthday cake is almost the center of attraction during their birthday party. It is as if the party can't start until everybody has sung the "Happy Birthday" song, blew out the candles and cut the cake. For weeks before the party, your child is talking excitedly about the cake.
I was on a mission to develop a cake that is super healthy, but still give my child and the guests the satisfaction that any birthday cake promise.
I made this cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. Everybody loved the ladybird strawberry sticks. It really made me very happy to see the children enjoying a HEALTHY cake and not one that is filled with refined sugar and flour!
I hope you find inspiration from this Healthy Ladybird Birthday Cake and experiment with other natural ingredients.
