This recipe is heavenly and healthy. Research shows that people who eat at least two servings of berries a week have a 25 percent less chance of developing Parkinson’s disease.

  1. In a saucepan, place the strawberries and blueberries with just enough water to cover the bottom of the pan. Bring to a boil and then remove from the heat. Add the vanilla seeds and set aside.
  2. Pour the berry mixture into glasses and let it cool completely.
  3. Mix the yogurt and the mascarpone cheese, honey and vanilla seeds.
  4. When the berry mixture is cool, top with the yogurt mixture.
  5. Cover and keep refrigerated until needed.
  6. Sprinkle granola over the dessert just before serving and drizzle with honey.
