These brownies are extremely delicious! I make them with stoneground flour and only use good quality sugar. When you think about health and making it part of your lifestyle, one of the main concerns are: Will I ever enjoy my food again? What about tea parties?
I love my tea parties, so I want to tell you a secret: sometimes, you need to “cheat” a little bit, but you can “cheat” the good way. When you make chocolate brownies, use quality ingredients. Use Lindt chocolate, real butter, lots of nuts and stoneground flour. Just remember, they are still full of calories and won’t give you a health boost, but at least it won’t kill you J
When I have a party at my house, I use a lot of fresh fruit. Most people love berries. I put out bowls of berries or a healthy berry dessert. (Fruit kebabs are another a great option, especially for children’s parties.)
Enjoy your food and enjoy your tea parties! Be social with your friends, and yes, you may have a innocent “cheat” every once in a while. Please just don’t buy cheap sweets made in China! Go homemade!
