Raw foods heal the body in numerous ways and their benefits stretch far beyond weight loss. Only raw foods yield their full complement of vitamins, minerals and fiber. Heat produced by cooking immediately reduces and often destroys the vitamin C content of fruits and vegetables, including other valuable elements.

Ingredients
- Ice Cream
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 cup macadamia nuts
- 1/2 cup maple syrup 100%, raw
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 3/4 cup pecans chopped
- Toppings
- chopped nuts, pomegranate rubies, raw cacao nibs

Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients together in a power blender until smooth.
- Stir in chopped pecan nuts.
- Put the mixture in the freezer overnight to set. In the morning take the ice cream out of the freezer, slice it up and process through the crushing screen of a masticating juicer such as the Oscar to remove the ice crystals.
- Refreeze or serve straight away. (Beware of maple flavored syrups.)
